We stumbled on this hotel after moving from Yaoyai resort which we found very overpriced. Yaoyai resort also had a problems with large jelly fish and is not really suitable for swimming due to its rocky shoreline. Thiw Son Beach Resort location is more spectacular, the beech is pure white powder sand and the bunglows are right on the beach....

Beautiful setting, french run, well kept and friendly. Not on the beach but a 10 min walk to lovely beach. Owners will run you around in their various vehicles, but beware it is not cheap (I thought they were being very helpful till I got the bill!!). The food is good, breakfast can be Thai, american or continental. Staff helpful...
