The people at the hotel need to be applauded,for Thai standards this was a 6-7star,great room,great price,great food,perfect working AC and hot showers which from experience in thailand is very rare.thanks for the help guys

If you expect the hotel to be on the beach, look for something else. But from my point of view walking for 10-15 min is a great exercise that you might not take otherwise and during that gastronomical Thai feast one needs it!
