Could do with a refurbishment, but is clean and comfortable. There is an excellent pool and plenty of leafy shade with easy chairs around the pool. There's also an outdoor dining area with atmospheric decor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of town.

This clearly used to be a very nice hotel once. Now there are many, many small things that need to be improved in order for Mountain Inn to be a place again to recommend. The facilities are still there, the pool e.g. was very nice, but service, room quality, etc. were all not up to standard.

When we arrived we thought, hmmm not bad. Nice courtyard garden with lovely saltwater pool...but the rooms! My wife asked straight away if we could be moved, the toilet didn't flush well & the view from our room was of a wall to the side & we approached it via a grubby alley where the kitchen vents expelled a bad... Not a nice place to stay. The room was functional, 1970s-style, with a basic ensuite. We found a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and there was a trail of ants behind the bed. The pool was out of action when we went, and when we asked if they'd fix it, they said they would 'but it would take 3-4... More

Found this hotel on this site...booked through sawatdee. Booking no problems, but room is not worth the room rates...Rooms are run down and not really pleasent at all. Everything worked, but peeling paint, really old furniture etc, was dissapointing. We were told byt he booking company that there was no rooms with a double/queen size bed.
