I try not to rate a place by how many amenities or bells and whistles it has, but more by whether or not it achieves what it appears to set out to do. I think this little gem of a hotel actually exceeds the obviously high standards it sets itself and can't recommend it highly enough. It's quite unassuming, but... More

Hi, I stay'd here with my two boys 11. and 13... it was fantastic. we had a room that was oppsite the pool, there were two rabbits, freindly people every where, massage avaiable in your room, we loved that. The breakfast is very very basic, but every thing else was clean and the graden was stunning.

We stayed here for 1 night in a green room. We were picked up from the bus station and returned on departure (complimentary). The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our room was very light, clean and looked exactly like the hotel pictures. It is in a good location and the grounds/swimming pool are pretty. We had good wifi reception.... More

I stayed here for 10 days. Most people stay a night or two. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Thai food from the menu was great and a good price. The front counter staff were quick to get me a driver and van to go to Erawon and the price was really good. The pool was fine. Thx Sabai@Kan.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Sabai@Kan in Kanchanaburi, it was perfect for our needs. Our group was four adults & one child, so we had two rooms (a double & a twin) and everything was adequate for a comfortable one night stay. The hotel is centrally located in Kanchanaburi, walking distance to restaurants and many (many!) bars - if... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in a ground floor 'Green' room. The rooms are very spacious and open onto the poolside garden. Rooms are provided with both bathroom and pool towels. We travelled from Bangkok on the morning train to Kanchanaburi. After arrival and check in we had lunch in their restaurant and the food was fresh and very... More

The hotel is well located, the rooms are nice and the garden and the swimming pool are great. The staff is not very friendly except to make you pay more money. Just avoid accepting what they offer you such as excurions or ground transportation because they will make you make you a lot more than the current fares..

we spent 3 nights here, the room on the 1st floor was very nice and clean but in the night it was hard to sleep because of the garden's lights. I complained but they could not switch them off because of others guests coming back late (it was 1am). Finally the next day I talked to the man at the... More

When we arrived at the station our promised lift was not there so we took the (overpriced) tuk-tuk to the hotel. As soon as we told them we hadn't been met they immediately gave us the money before we had even booked in! The garden and grounds are a beautiful escape from the heat and are obviously the owner's pride... More

This place has plenty of positives. Before continuing, there is a suggestion for those arriving by train. When arriving at Kanchanaburi Station avoid the overpriced shuttle services offered by the hawkers. Instead head out of the station and on the right hand side is a telephone booth. Call the hotel and they will pick you up for free. Plus, at... More
