This used to be the number one hotel in Chiang Rai 25 years ago but it's gone downhill since then. Probably more like a 3 star hotel now. Simple and old relative hotel who is a minute walk to the night market. The rooms themselves are simple but clean and comfortable. Do not expect too much and not be disappointed. The breakfast is rich and luxurious, a small pool and not inviting. It is recommended to those who seek to be downtown.
