Pros: 1. Cheap 2. Has the basic amenities you will expect a hotel this grade. Cons: 1. Noisy. Don't get yourself a room in the building. 2. A walk to the center will take you around 10-15 mins. 3. Not so clean. 4. Dark rooms.

B2 chiang rai offers a very good deal in terms of budget and location. The hotel is clean and modern. It even has a coffee shop which is very rare for B2 chain. Local street foods are not far. It's easy to go everywhere in Chiangrai town with the tricycle taxi from the hotel. Bad side lies on the room.... More

Close to everything. Not super charming, but hey, we were there to explore and take in the sites. The desk was able to give us good advice on some information we wanted and we were able to rent a decent motor bike to go around on our own from the front desk as well.

The room was okay, as were the beds, but it was dark and kind of depressing. Very little sound proofing between the rooms so we needed to use our white noise machine. The staff was not particularly helpful and spoke little English. The location was good. Near the center but in a quiet alley. Price was good, but overall just... More

Outstanding location; right in town and along the street to the golden clock tower. Brand-new place so everything works. The room décor is dark and the equipment level is high; even had a DVD player which may be good for tired business travelers. Location lacks conveniences (7-11, food) close by but these are available a few streets away. They have... More

Rooms were clean and new looking. Air con, flat screen tv, fridge and hot water shower all worked well. Quiet, off the main street. Close enough to centre to walk. No breakfast was the only problem, but it looked like they were renovating restaurant downstairs. Staff a little slow with check in and check out, English just good enough to... More

The good bits - Rooms are clean and modern, service efficient. I did not notice any (English) language problems. Independent coffee shop downstairs with enthusiastic and very welcoming staff. The missing part - A restaurant would not only make the hotel additional profits but also provide service to guests. The bad/ugly - Oh dear... B2's connecting rooms set up is... More

This chain is spot on in its modern decor. The beds are comfy, free wifi, two towels, clean rooms, and the extra effort in home decor go a long way in atmosphere and percieved value: e.g. What you get for how much you pay. On the downside our bathroom had a sulfur smell, unfortunately not uncommon in budget hotels on... More

Nice western style rooms, looks like this place has just been redecorated, satellite TV and A/C. It's very hand for town too, just a short walk from the clock tower and a couple of great cofee shops. highly recommended and busy, suggest high floor rooms arte quieter, has a lift.
