A big white house with wooden & granny-styled furnitures, always kept clean. The owner, Ms. Nong, welcomed us with hospitality & was very helpful in arranging our sightseeing tour with a hired car & nice chauffer, Mr. Phon. Rooms were tidy & they cleaned them for us everyday just like in a hotel. Brakfast (choices of pancake, toasts, fruits, milk,... More

We stayed here for two nights. The room was bright and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was included free and the staff helped us out with contacting an organisation and translating some Thai as well. They also had recommendations of where to go and how. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our first visit to Chiang Rai and booked this place based on its reviews. It is a very nice little guest house that is located in a good part of Chiang Rai. The owner is very helpful and friendly and speaks good english. The rooms are very clean and quite large and the room number 3 has a... More

I booked by emailing the owner and reserved the "Leelawadee Room" which is a king bed room on the first floor - an extremely spacious room with super comfortable bed and quality fresh bed linen. The guest house is an old villa, and there is a little sitting area by reception, and a shared kitchen ( where you can make... More

I stayed in the shared room (dorm) as the private rooms were full. Super clean, great value especially as the included breakfast was different yet delicious each of the 3 days I stayed there. Nong provided great suggestions helped arrange tours which were perfect for me as a solo traveler. Staff were all so nice. It was also nice because... More

This place is a lovely colonial house with nice bedrooms and excellent breakfast but... - it is located on a very, very, very busy street in the morning : forget about sleeping later than 7am! - the 2 bedrooms upstairs are ok (they are the most expensive ones), but I would not stay downstairs as they are all facing the... Lovely, simple accommodations at a convenient location. The grounds around the building are gorgeous. The only noteworthy downside is that a school is across the street which can generate some noise. But overall, it was a charming experience and a good cost value. I would certain stay there again.

My partner and I stayed at Baan Rub Aroon for three nights while the owner was away in early April. The guest house itself is surrounded by a lovely garden and it is a 15 minute walk from the bus terminal and the night bazaar (markets). When we arrived we found out that we did not have our own bathroom... More
