Khao Lak is beautiful. We stayed at Amsterdam Resort for 3 days and it was great. Kees was very helpful & drove us all over the place. Stayed with the only other Kees I've ever met. my names Case too. Bungalows are average, however price is cheap. Kees can help you with everything you need as he gets the lowest prices around. Would stay here again. disclaimer. if you go to similan islands make sure u stay overnight as all the tourists leave and it is amazing!!!

The owner is very helpful and cannot do enough for you. A very nice man. The huts/rooms were a tad on the worn out side.This area of Khao Lak was very disappointing. After one night we got in the car and drove on to much better (& cheaper) places...
