I don't like the photos you have of it here, it only shows the bad parts of the place they don't even have ants inside. You make it look like a trash hotel, but irl it's like a paradise. The picture of the beach is outside the hotels own private beach, who actually is very CLEAN, they clean up the... More

We only spent one night there - luckily as this is not a five-star hotel as they allege to be. The room was clean but nothing special, average in all respects. The receptionist was very slow and did not seem to know her job; they had some problems to handle our Mastercard so in the end we had to pay... More

This is a five-star hotel (by Syrian standards) but the prices are really quite low. The location is unbeatable and in the spring and summer months there are a lot of street vendors in the area selling delicious food. You can also rent bikes or even go for a camel or horse ride. The ruins of Ugarit are just up... More

Huge place aimed at Arab visitors in high season. It was out of season and the place felt it. Stayed on a room only rate which seemed reasonable, but were stung by high (for Syria) breakfast and dinner cost. More

I went to enjoy my holiday in Syria with my husband. But was discussed to find out that as a muslim woman I was not allowed to swim on the beach from 8am to 8pm in the hotel resort. I have NEVER been so insulted in my life, both as a muslim and western woman from australia . Shame on... More

I booked a duplex room which includes a kitchenette. It wasn't until we arrived that we found that, although there's two electric hot plates, a fridge and a sink, there's no crockery, cuttlery or glasses and hence if you've not bought these with you, little point in having a kitchenette! Since we were travelling with a baby and needed to... More

This is definitly aimed at the tour groups. Place was deserted most of the time - bar was closed most evenings too, and if open barman was not very friendly. Beach furniture was the most uncomfortable we ever experienced. Dinner was nice, even if lonely with just the 2 of us and one large tour group in the other corner.... More

No Westerner should stay here for more than a day or two. In no way is Lattakia a holiday resort for anyone except Arabs. This hotel is right on the beach, with a pleasant terrace, large reception area and reasonable facilities, but no pool, and all their shops were closed in low season (i.e. April – which is the best... We only stayed here the one night. The room and bathroom were a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable. It's furnishings were OK. Our room had a great view out onto the beach and the sea. Can't really complain about the room at all. There was a restaurant there and the food was OK, if unspectacular. The waiting... More

It is supposed to be a top end hotel - it is not. Check-in was unfriendly, check out time-consuming. Rooms have been refurbished. There was a not-looked-after fridge and a lonely cooker without any utensils. There was a new flat screen TV with rubbish programs. But who comes to a beach hotel to stay in the room watching TV? The... More
