This hotel is great for short breaks as it provides almost everything you need for relaxation i.e. good size swimming pool, beach front and reasonable breakfast. I used room service several times and found the food reasonably priced and good taste. Staff were helpful and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable.

hotel is amazing and right on the beach! staff goes out of their way to make your trip just perfect! rates are amazing and the hotels restaurant serves up the most amazing food! (their is also a little tiny place to eat right across the street from the hotel that is a must go!)

This hotel is used extensively by Thomas Cook Tours, so you can bet that it's secure, functional, and professionally run, but also more geared to efficient mass tourism than individual travelers or a boutique-type experience. Three nights here, it was sort of my homebase in Sri Lanka. The staff remembered who I was and always was helpful and enthusiastic.
