Enormous rooms (I've lived in houses smaller than the bathroom), charming approach, quiet, comfortable, central, excellent breakfast - what more can one want? WE did wonder though if the absolutely charming young Mr Pereira could not have been offered a little more help, as he seemed to be doing absolutely everything on his own. Not top end luxury, but great Manager/staff who bend over backwards to make you comfortable. Not sure the new rates are value for money, but we booked well in advance, and felt it was a fair price. If you do stay here, have your breakfast at the sister hotel, as its a marvelous spread. Highly recomended!
