The hotel is located in a picturesque location but a bit far from the main tourist locations. The property is good. The staff try to help but have language limitations. Only a few speak English. You need to be patient. Try to stay with the local food. It is better by far. There are no other options for eating closer... More

The location is isolated, but pretty. If you want isolated, this is the place for you. I was here for a conference, so the isolation is not too much of a nuisance. Lack of light in the corridors is a nuisance. The main building corridors are VERY dimly lit. No iron in the room - and no irons available at... More

I stayed for one night and would have expected a bit more for this price range. the hotel is an odd design with the reception on the third floor. My room had a double bed but an older style tv. There was a kitchenette in the room but no cutlery or crockery. There was water damage on the floor near... More

I was here for a business trip and as such it was OK The good: Clean very very large rooms. Internet facilities in meeting rooms. The bad: No individual way to set our room temperatures - so it was set to hot/tropical The restaurant could not cope with our group over over 100 individuals all wanting lunch in the restaurants... I arrived at Shineville and there weren't many people around. It is set in a green, manicured and somewhat soulless garden just south of the middle of nowhere. It was peaceful, warm, empty. I felt like I'd gone to someone else's Heaven - perhaps one intended for a teetotal, obsessive-compulsive loner. I wandered around in a daze for most of... More

Visiting the Shineville for work, I like many of my colleagues checked out the Trip Advisor reviews. I can see elements of both the positives and negatives that come through these reviews, and here is my recent take on the Shineville experience: Location - This hotel is fairly isolated. The folk village is a short taxi away, but other sights... More

Ok so this is a great place to stay BUT you need a hire car. Its location is atleast 30km from anywhere but its worth it. We found a great deal on a local korean hotel site and got a standard room at Shineville including a hire car and breakfast for two...all for $130 USD. The hotel is enormous and... More

I stayed at the Shineville Resort fora three night weekend break. Easy to get thehotel bus from the carpark in front of Jeju airport, although the journeys are infrequent: I was lucky and only had a half hour wait. The hotel was large but seemed very empty. Room large with a good bathroom ,with bath and shower, and a balcony.... More

Excellent view from my room and magnificent outdoor pool makes a paradise. Quiet resort without any disturbance. Golf course makes the extra spice however shame about the 9-hole course. Distance is too far from the airport however good to be close to major tourist sites. Price not too expensive. Was a perfect choice for a peaceful and romantic trip with... More

Overall a fine place, but probably not where a typical English-speaking tourist would want to stay. We stayed in the new building (building 3) for four nights. The room was very nice, large enough, with high quality materials and furniture. The bed, while a bit firmer that I like it, was comfortable. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms.... More
