We recently stayed with many family and friends at this location for 3 nights. My son's wedding was just across the street at 11 North Pearl. Fabulous stay. So accomodating. I attended the Empire Conference in mid April and found the rooms very comfortable[I don't go to hotels for large tubs]. Walter as well as the rest of the staff were very friendly, hospitable and possibly when the new convention center is built anyone complaining about the first class establishment at Hotel Albany can stay there.

The first room they put me smelled like smoke. I picked up the phone to check if I had a smoking room and the phone was dead. The Hotel Albany has apparently been acquired by Hilton in the recent past. It is still undergoing renovations and more are needed. The location of this hotel is very good.
