Fairyland has a strange vibe to it - mainly due to the miserable staff especially the lady manager. IT is in a lovely location on a secluded beach, and its a good point from which to explore the island. As the SEychelles is madly expensive, Fairyland does offer good value accomodation and meals. we did get a bad tummy once... More

Trades on the fact that all rooms have a balcony, only 3 have decent balconies and these are reserved for those who have booked via agents. ours was a closed in balcony with no view, only smells from the kitchen extract. Rooms very outdated and in need of revamp. Staff fairly unhelpful, but sorted us out a hire car when... More

Called at Fairyland one afternoon for food and drink. The bar area seemed to have no other customers. A waitress came to our table, said nothing, gave us a most unwelcome look, whilst holding a pad and pen. We asked for a menu but were told there was no food. My colleague was so put off by the waitresses glare... More

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at Fairyland during our honeymoon in July'07 and we loved every bit of it. Per, Bettina & little Alana were the nicest hosts and we being vegetarian, Bettina made sure we got vegetarian food on all nights. Breakfast by the beach was something which we looked for everday. The view from our room... More

We stayed in fairyland a while ago, but I loved the place. The rooms are basic but big. The view from the balcony is fantastic. A little walk (go left from the entrance, over the hill) there is this beautiful private beach, where you can have a fantastic swim-dive-snorkle. Don´t expect to much of the interieur of the rooms or... More

Our two week stay at Fairyland was heavenly. Although the rooms are 2 star, the staff and food were 4 star. Rooms overlooking the bay (with balcony) had a wonderful view. Sitting on your balcony after a long day exploring, with a gin and tonic, could not have been more perfect. The staff were always smiling and so helpful. The... More

An extremely bad-tempered hostess ruined our stay. A good morning was too much trouble, and our every request was greeted with eye-rolling. The air-conditioner was hanging off the wall, but a refund for the extra cost of having an air-conditioner was too much trouble. So were clean towels. I don't know why she decided that we were to be the... More

We stayed at this lovely location in July 08 for 3 nights. The hotel is set amidst lovely surroundings with most rooms overlooking the beach. It was magical to dine in the restaurant which faces the sea, and walk in the sea surrounded by fish. The hospitality of the owners was second to none. Per and his wife Bennita were... More

We stayed at Fairyland for 4 nights. The room is in desperate need of a little TLC. The bed was so old and worn that you roll into the middle when you're trying to sleep. Black ants have nested in the shower, so they are all through the shower door tracts and often a little ant highway on the inside... More

We stayed at Fairyland Hotel for 12 days in December 2007. We rented a family room with 2 double beds. The room was simple, nice and clean. The restaurant and bar had a splendid view of the blue lagoon and granite rocks by the beach. We paid 160 euros pr day for the room on halfboard, two adults and two... More
