We stayed in hill side pool vila for 7 nights. I must say the service in restaurant (which we went to only for breakfast) was great and choice of food amazing. People were very friendly. Housekeeping was good but I would rate it 4* not 5*. They never swept the floor, took some towels and did not replace it. Took... More

Spa, rooms and location fantastic. Service was poor, attention to detail is poor, especially when paying over 1100 euros per night and the women staff were downright unfriendly. Food was extremely average and did not meet 5 star standards at all. Having pointed it out to management, chefs tried harder but sstill fell short of the mark. Ther is no... More

We stayed for 5 nights at the Banyan Tree as our last stop in Seychelles, after 2 days at the Domaine de l’Orangeraie (La Digue) and 1 week at the Constance Lemuria (Praslin). The strongest point of this resort is its fantastic location and well-kept grounds. Anse Intendance is one of hegt most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen... More

Banyan Tree is a trademark reknowned for couple/honeymooner hotels and resorts. Only recently they started to change their policy and accept family with young children. But unfortunately, in term of family friendliness, they are very far away from Four Seasons and One&Only. I'll give you just one example: look at my 3rd attached photo and ask yourself if you could... More

We recently returned from a 7 night stay at the Banyan Tree and absolutely loved it. Having read some of the more negative reviews on here we were a little worried about what it would be like but I can honestly say I can't understand what some people have to complain about! We had the most wonderful relaxing holiday in... More

We visited the Banyan Tree on the first stage of our honeymoon. I had read A LOT of reviews of various resorts in the Seychelles. While all resorts had at least a couple of poor reviews this seemed the most consistently high scores too - and it was exactly what I was looking for. Several reviewers commented that it is... More

The resort is approximately 10yr old and I agree with the previous comments it definitely needs refurbishing. It is facing a very nice long beach. The sea is quite rough and not for snorkelling or weak swimmers but ideal for wave fun. The service is great. The staff at the restaurant and the swimming pool is super friendly and really... More

My wife and I spent 3 hours at the Banyan Tree spa and then had dinner at the Saffron restaurant. The spa service and experience was incredible. The private rooms are situated in wild nature wth no landscaping or artifical rocks and so forth. The naturalness of the surroundings was proven when an endemic Seychelles fruit bat landed in a... I chose this hotel for a complete escape from the pressures of a busy life, and to celebrate a birthday, and it more than fulfilled our expectations. We selected a hillside villa for our stay because we love views and felt that it would be more secluded. Hillside villas are the least expensive option at this all villa hotel, but... More
