Our Holy Land pilgrimage from May 8-18, 2012 was ably handled by Airmiles Travel Agency in the Philippines and TAC Tours. Coming from Amman, Jordan, our next stop was in Galilee in Israel. We stayed at Club Hotel in Tiberias with a very nice view of Lake Galilee. The hotel is relatively old and the room is quite skimpy because... More

This hotel has to be 35-40 years old and I don't think they have done any updates since it was built. All the rooms are suites with a kitchenette and there is room for 4. Everything about the rooms are shabby from the furnishings to the stained carpets. They have a lovely lobby with free wi Fi and a dining... More

This hotel is family hotel. 90% of the guests are Israelis. The view is fantastic! Each room overlooks the Sea Of Galilee. The pool is in the lower floor and pretty overcrowded with kids. But you can find your spot and enjoy it. The problem is that there is no shade. The staff are very friendly (most of them). The... More

we spent a weekend there. it was sooooo hot. we had a family room which was nice- that is, a double bed for parents and 2 beds for kids in a somwhat seperated part. kitchen was a pleasant surprise since it had a little fridge and microwave and akk the utilities for eating. there is also a nice porch if... Though part of the Club Hotel chain, this hotel doesn't compare to Club Hotel Eilat in terms of decor or facilities- but we still had a very good time due to the helpful staff. The place has great potential and with a complete overhaul it could be magical -as the view is splendid from every room. The lobby is vast... More

Good: Most rooms has view to the galilee sea, all utensils provided, one room is enough for a family with 2 kids (4 beds) Bad: very old carpet, bathroom is very inadeqaute, a very old hotel, door lock needs fixing.

The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. It is not up to American standards. Carpets are worn and stained. Beds are narrow and uncomfortable. Airplane pillows are better than the ones here. In the suite there is a mini kitchen with utensils. There are two TVs with about 47 channels, but only 3-4 are in English, and those show... More

Let's start with good points . Fantastic view of the whole of kinneret and large swimming pool with life guards. However, pool closed too early at 5 o'clock. The first room we had for a 4 star hotel was appalling. The carpet was badly stained and the room was very basic and tired looking. Went to complain next morning. Looked... More

This hotel is a perfect example of true Israel. The hotel caters to the Jews for religious holidays and the Sabbath (Friday sundown - Saturday sundown). There were no tour buses there. The first few days it was just us and a small group of 5-6 from France. We wondered why no one else was there. Then came Passover and Shabbatt... More

We booked this hotel through our time share company, which promises 4 to 5 star accomodation. I had seen photos on the web, and thought they looked ok, albiet a little tired looking, also although there where no reviews, the description given by various booking agents seemed very promising. It was nearly midnight when we arrived, and was allocated a... More
