I spent 4 nights at Ein-Gev Holiday Resort. Yes, it's a kibbutz, but you stay in great little bungalow rooms (we were in a family room: one bedroom w/ two twin beds in lounge area, fridge, hot plate, good sized sink, shower in bathroom). We also were on the sea-front and had a great little patio w/ table and chairs.... More

This was our 4th or 5th stay at this hotel. The first time was in 2007 and have been there almost every year since then. Rooms are very comfortable though not fancy. We always take the "View Rooms" where you see the sea from inside your room. They also have a patio with table and chairs. The location is great... More

Ein Gev is a well run Kibbutz that offers guests to stay in their Resort. You'll be staying on the quiet side of The Kinneret (Sea of Gallilee), and the place is magical. Listen up though, it's still a kibbutz so do not expect 5 star service, but if you get to know even one hard working yet laid back... More

This is the second time I have stayed here, but my first review here. Whether for beauty or religious experience -- this hotel with its cabin / cabana type rooms is fantastic. Though a bit homey rather than luxurious, it is a fabulous place. Most cabana rooms are just feet from the Galillee. The food at the buffet restaurant is... More

Entire family: mom, dad, 2 kids. Got a villa on the water line overlooking the sea of Galilee, with the back door opening to a huge grassy knoll where the kids can go crazy. The accommodations are not fancy but in good shape, 2 LCD TV's, a small but practical kitchenette and a bar-B-Q stand outside the door. The price... More

Our family w/2 young children stayed in the newly renovated Kafriot and loved it. Nicely updated kitchenette and living spaces. One very small bedroom with two single beds and the master bed in the main room including the sofa and kitchenette = family friendly. The front row of Kafriot (which I think translates to something like, "home in the village")... More

After hearing such great things about this kibbutz we were very excited to stay there. We loved being right on the kinneret but other than that this lodging was definitely our least favorite place we have stayed in Israel. As a family of 6 we had to stay in the non-renovated bungalows and I would definitely suggest NOT staying at... More

Watch out if you are with a tour group! My son and I had a double room paid in advance with our tour group. Upon arrival, we discovered that two others would be with us in one of their modest "family rooms" that had two twin beds and a small "sofa" in one room and a child's single plus a... More

Decided to try a different kind of lodging by staying at Ein Gev. My decision proved to be right (after adapting to the kibbutz concept). Rooms are in separate bungalow-like houses. They are average in size, small toilet with shower and a terrace to sit outside. The best feature of Ein Gev is having the Galilee Sea at your doorstep.... More
