We arrived here at night and were taken next morning by one of the staff to see dawn over the crater lakes. Upon arrival back at the lodge the friendly staff prepared a very filling breakfast of fruit, pancakes and coffee. After breakfast our driver took us to see the hot springs, waterfall and then dropped us at a local... More

In April 2012, we took a 4-day trans-Flores overland trip as a part of our 3 weeks in Indonesia. My husband enjoys 'good' standard of living; so I tried to book only the 'best' accommodations I could get. The first two nights were not so great. But our luck started to turn when we arrived the Eco Lodge. We stayed... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights starting 13 Jan.2012. We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant serves great food. We like Indonesian food and they would make things for us that weren't on the menu. Mosquitoes no problem.... only at dawn and dusk like everywhere else. We would definitely recommend... More

The 100 usd bungalows were uninhabitable because if swarms of mosquitoes. We 'evacuated' to the rooms in the main building, but these have open windows to the corridor. Terribly noisy!! Warm water was a trickle and cockroaches in abundance. Management did not show any interest addressing these issues. Then breakfast was 1 small pancake and coffee. And that for 85... More

The ecolodge has a great setting; the surrounding lush forest, foliage and stream provide a lovely and peaceful environment in which to stay. We stayed for one night; our room was small for two people but the furnishings were reasonable and cleanliness was good. Overall (and given that ecolodges are not meant to be places of luxury) the room was... More

A little slice of paradise if it wouldn't be for the abundance of bugs and other crawlers, mainly scaring our small daughter... We had 2 double rooms above the restaurant which was sufficient for one night but can be quite noisy if the guests are noisy below. Also, if you stay longer, I would suggest to chose one of the... We stayed in a room above the restaurant instead of an available villa and although the setting was not as good - the room was definitely to a very good standard for Flores. It was a splash out compared to the rest of the local accommodation but as some get booked up quickly it was really worth it. All the... More

We stayed here for one night last August during our trip through Flores. Moni offers the best access to the Kelimutu crater and it probably has several other hotel options, but we arrived late and we were in need of a triple room, so we decided to take a standard room with an extra bed (cheaper) and not a triple... This was the best hotel I stayed at in Flores. I had Villa #3 which was clean, comfortable with excellent lighting. The garden bathroom was lovely. The room had good views of the mountains and the included breakfast was plentiful and excellent. There are 5 villas (as well as standard rooms) and in eyeballing them, I can say that Villa... More

This eco lodge is one of 3 we stayed at in Indonesia. Our tour was organised through Uduyana Eco Lodge in Bali where we stayed 1 night before going on to Flores where we also stayed at Labuan Bajo Eco Lodge. We can recommend this company to arrange a fantastic holiday and provide excellent accommodation, special tasty local food and... More
