I have stayed twice in Hotel Gran Puri Manado. The first stay was for 5D/4N. The second one was a quite long stay, for 15D/14N. What I liked for this hotel was its location in the heart of Manado city and the same place with a department store. The restaurants service and food also were good.

The location is a bit far from the city centre, but a taxi can take you there in 10 mins. The room was reasonably good, but rather standard and a bit outdated. The lobby is much more modern. Breakfast is good with a good choice of Indonesian dishes. Of course a lot of fresh fruit.

Stayed here as many of the other hotels in Manado were full. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the staff were friendly. We ordered room service and it was OK and breakfast was great if you like Indonesian Breakfast but limited on Western choices but had fruit and eggs to order. I would stay again.
