We spent such a wonderful week in Wakatobi ! Great dives, very good organization, small diving groups so very exclusive, beautiful dive sites, very nice corals (Lembeh Straits was better in terms of diversity but still excellent, pygmee sea horses, frog fishes, stone fishes, octopus ...). Our bungalow was nice. Outdoor bathroom only so be careful to mosquitos. No swimming... More

Dear Lilosnow29, Thank you for your feedback and the opportunity to say something about Wakatobi Dive Resort’s conservation model. The fact the reefs are in such a pristine state around the resort that they attract more and more sophisticated divers from all around the world is not a fortunate coincidence, but rests on a carefully balanced and fine-tuned collaboration between... WOW!!!! We started off with some very long flights. Was it worth it? Yes. When we landed in Bali a representative from Wakatobi met our group and was a big help getting us threw customs and helped us get to the next terminal to head toward Wakatobi. We landed in Tomia and more staff members greeted us and took our... More

I had a great trip to Wakatobi and I will be going back. My comments are meant to encourage some refinement and thought on the diving schedule but overall my Wakatobi exprience was really good. So, why schedule a dive on a west-facing wall at 8:30 am? It makes no sense but there we were diving a wall in complete... More

We had planned this trip almost a year in advance to celebrate one of the turning points in our life - turning 60! We had high expectations and they were indeed fulfilled. We stayed in one of the villas and it was lovely - well that is a bit of an understatement - it was fantastic. The service at Wakatobi... More

If you are wanting a diving holiday with a touch of luxury then go to Wakatobi. We spent 10 nights there and it was heaven, diving was wonderful very little currents and staff to do everything for you. The food is out of this world and we spent 5 nights in the beach select bungalow and 5 nights in the... More

Just returned from an incredible stay at Wakatobi. Being from NY, we left on a Weds. night and arrived in Bali on a Friday. It was a very long flight. NY to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Singapore, Singapore to Bali. Then as was suggested we stayed 3 days in Bali at the Nusa Dua Beach resort. This gave time to get... More

This really is heaven on earth. You will be treated like a royalty from the moment you arrive in Bali to that last step out of the Bali airport after leaving Wakatobi. The resort, the diving, the staff and the management deserve no less than 5 stars. Some considerations (these are NOT negatives): - prior to your first diving, you... More

We heard about Wakatobi by word of mouth. If you are an experienced diver you may well know that this place is generally regarded as one of the top dive destinations in the world. I can confirm that this reputation is well deserved. The management is open about their goal of making every aspect of the Wakatobi trip effortless and... More

I have been many places diving, Belize, Fiji, Bonaire, Florida Keys and Hawaii and always want to return. Each of these places have wonderful things but Wakatobi is truly amazing. As others have said you are well taken care of from arrival in Bali to your return there. Te staff is attentive and friendly but it is not at all... More

We are currently on our last full day of a 5 day stay at this most wonderful resort. Absolutely everything about this place has been so amazing and we say this as people who have travelled to some very special diving locations. Every single person who works here from the grounds staff to the management are so very friendly and... More

Dear fungooley_ruley, Terima kasih! (Thank you). The greatest reward is to hear from our guests about the wonderful experience they’ve had at Wakatobi. I will be sure to pass on your praises to Wira and Agung. We are fortunate, and proud, to have such a great team who focuses on every detail. I must say, it still amazes me how... More
