I spent 3 nights here in between flights. Its a very pretty site and surrounds. The cabin I had was basic but nicely decorated. The mosquito net is a must. As there is no electricity except for a few hours in the afternoon, there is no aircon or fans and so it can get very warm and uncomfortable trying to... More

We were here in 10/2011 for 4 Nights overall. We left after two nights because it was too expensive on the first view. We paied 300 € for two nights including pick-up from Manado food (what was good and enough) one day snorkeling with rental fins and mask and extra dinks (about 3 beer and 5 coke). The beach was... We had four great nights (3 full days) there to escape the big cities for a breather. Although the facilities were basic it was just as we had expected after reading about the resort. We had an active yet totally relaxing three days. The snorkeling is hard to beat due to the abundance of corals and marine life. The waters... More

Easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The ironic thing is that at $75/ night (incl. all meals) it was more expensive than my favorite hotels in Indonesia. There was a terrible outdoor bathroom with no flushable toilet and no sink. The room was swarming with various insects and many lizards. Maybe a hard-core outdoors person would find... More

We came back yesterday and we are still in love with this special place! The best word to express our overall experience is "pelan, pelan" - this means slowly, slowly in indonesian. PULISAN beach resort is no place to go - if you expect a normal, boring, sophisticated beach standard holiday - you have to be ready to get into... More

The view: WOW, amazingly peaceful! The food: Delicious, really local and fresh! The cottages: simple and clean, just what you want if you like natural settings and simple accommodations. The DIVING: OFF THE CHARTS!!!! We will be spoiled forever because of how cool the diving was here! So, you may wonder why I rate the place terrible. We live in... More

This has the potential to be a great place, but is sadly undermined by management who don't go the distance to make sure you're well looked after. It's important, because Pulisan is a longish two hour trip from Manado airport, it's a fifteen minute walk through the jungle to get to the resort, and it sits at the bottom of... More

This place will enchant those looking for a piece of untouched nature. A 750m walk from the nearest village, peace and quiet are guaranteed here. The only sounds heard at night are the waves crashing on the beach. The bungalows are clean and feature basic bathrooms and mosquito nets fitted to the bed. It's worth paying €5 extra for one... We spended allmost 5 weeks at that place and never got bored. No place for nightlife-junky`s, pool-freeks or shopping-enthusiasts. A good place for relaxing, diving, exploring the local area, photographer, people who like to communicate, travellers. The bungalows are basic but good, excellent bed. If you know , how to do , no moscitos inside the bed!! I personelly love... More

If you want to go basic and enjoy a fantastically beautiful, virtually private kilometre beach this may be the spot for you. The food, which is included, is good and local in style, however coffee is only included in the morning and all other drinks, including water need to be purchased. To enjoy the resort, and we did, you do... More
