I'll be fair - if this a hotel, it would have been fine. Big, comfy bed, decent shower, pools looked good, near the airport. A spruce-up wouldn't hurt, but it would have been fine, had it be advertised as a hotel room. However, we specifically booked it on the grounds of it being - allegedly - an apartment.
