I've stayed in Hotel Horison Semarang for a couple times now. Mostly because of family event happened on the hotel. The room is quite small for family of four, but it's comfortable and quiet. It has great location, not too far from the airport. The food, was okay. My room had a bad view, i can only see parking lot from my room. And it was not good view. The thing i like was, they served jamu (traditional javanese drink) on breakfast. Quite unique i guess.

the location is in the middle of semarang - simpang lima & attached with shopping mall. the service is standard. need more room for breakfast, the restaurant looks to crowded. internet connection? i don't think so. i got room with LAN cable but there was no internet connection. this hotel not to clean, smelly, little bit noisy and looks old.

Hotel is in good location connected to shopping mall and about 15 minutes taxi ride from Semarang airport. Nothing flashy decor wise but comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Bedroom does need iron and ironing board. Shower has great water pressure. Indonesian breakfast very good with large variety but limited western food at breakfast.
