We booked a room in one of the main building and when we arrived in february 2012 there was some construction works with a lot of noise; we asked for another room and they put us in a superior villa with a private pool at no extra cost! They did the same with my parents in-law.They still make a new... More

The rooms and villas are lovely. You are on a property of 8 hectares and there you can find a rice fields, beautiful gardens, a lovely pool, two museums, two restaurants, a cafe, a spa, and a few shops. The rooms are very large bungalows or deluxe villas with private pools. Food is great at the restaurants. There is entertainment... More

We stayed in a superior villa and had a wonderful experience. Our quarters were absolutely stunning-- a huge bathroom that is half indoor half ourdoor, a large comfy bed, a private pool ... we had no idea our stay would be so luxurious, yet tasteful as everything had a very natural vibe and Balinese style. The hotel is also located... More

Rooms & villas are all very different a bit like a medieval room with stone interiors and shower built into brick walls with Norwood and plants growing inside. All antique type furniture quite dirty and broken though. There is some abuilding/renovation going on so noisy and busy near the pool. Food was ok and breakfast fine limited compared to the... More

My partner and I from Melbourne stayed here for 2 nights. Arma is located just outside of town so that it's a little to far to walk in the heat, but there is a shuttle service a dozen or so times per day. It sits amongst rice fields of Ubud and the area is just beautiful. The resort was under... More

The resort was amazing and such good value. The lush green surroundings with little river running through the compund was beautiful. The room was huge as was the bathroom. The bathroom was amazing grotto style bathroom with exposed stone work and Balinese features. The location was perfect, it was a little bit away from the main centre of Ubud but... More

Unfortunately, I stayed here on the last night of a great 10 day trip to Bali and by almost every measure this place did not compare favorably to the other places I stayed, even though in some cases it cost more than other hotels I stayed in. My advice would be to go see the museum and walk around the... More

Having stayed at many places in Bali, I would rate this one as one of the most authentically Balinese places I have been to (The Alam hotels being the other). We rented a villa with a private pool and loved every moment of it. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom with open-air shower probably the largest I have... More

Arma resort and spa offered a great deal on a two bedroom villa close enough to town to walk and in a very simple setting. The property is vast and is nestled close to rice fields. We satyed in a compound that actually had two seperate one bedroom villas with a huge open air bathroom for each and a pool... More

Not great... Room was dated and felt a bit dirty. Disappointed as it was relatively expensive(for Bali). We got a superior room but was not nice!!!
