- Okawati Hotel Ubud

Great location. Lovely place to stay. Clean and friendly. Found this place on trip advisor and would highly recommend to any one.
This is a very lovely hotel with heaps of beauty inside and out but it has a terrible noise problem.
The staff are very apologetic about this but nonetheless they will happily make your reservation, take your money, and put you in the room without any warning but knowing full well that you will be woken up at 7am by...

Okawati is hidden away from Ubud, but its right off the main streets on a tiny little alley. The hotel is laid out like a resort with a beautiful pool and views of rice fields surrounding the location. The rooms are massive and covered in intricate stone and wood work.
The breakfast is a bit too early for my taste...

Had some trouble locating the hotel. It's down a very long alley-way.
The hotel had nice common grounds & awesome pool - resort style. It's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Ubud streets.
But it is located on Monkey Forest Road - which is the heart of the city.
The rooms - uniquely designed - the furniture,...

Checked out after two nights. Even though we gave them more than 24 hours notice they wanted to charge a cancellation fee. I had to argue pretty vehemently even though there was a man waiting to take my room. This hotel is depressing, dark, not kept up. Walk ways were a mess. We asked for airport pick up-- supposedly reasonable...

After reading the reviews I was excited about the hotel however was very disappointed.
On arrival our room was not very clean and the extra bed provided was very uncomfortable. The hotel is quite old and the rooms are very dark. Despite the good weather we were unable to sit around the pool due to all the loungers being covered...

We stayed 4 nights in the Budda room, which was a bit more expensive than the other rooms, but totally worth it. Lovely room, outdoor bath and shower and very nice balcony with views (through the trees!) of the rice fields and volcanoes. Location is perfect - just a 2 minute walk off of Monkey Forest Road - so near...

What a lovely hotel. Great location, staff, facilities and did I mention I loved it. The breakfast is amazing.
We really enjoyed our stay at Okawati, it seemed to include a lot of what is good about Bali.
The staff were always friendly and very helpful, a couple of slight mis-communications solved with smiles. It's amazing how an honest smile smoothes over minor hiccups. I will fondly remember enjoying a delicious breakfast brought to our balconies every morning, overlooking...

I have just read a few of the reviews about the Okawati and concluded that some people are never happy.
This is a wonderful place to stay. The place is so peaceful and just a few minutes away from a fairly busy road, yet not a sound from it. The staff are extremely friendly. The owner is very welcoming and...
