We began our 2 week family holiday in Bali with a 7 night stay at Villa Awang Awang. Our flight came in, in the evening so we didn't arrive at the villa until about 10.30pm. This being their first overseas experience, our kids ( 12, 14 and 16 ) were a little teary and disorientated. When we woke the next... More

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Villa Pererepan, which is a single bungalow located away from the larger villas. It is ideal for a couple that wants to completely escape into the Indonesian forest. To call it "romantic" is an understatement. We were greeted by monkeys in the trees, as well as by the superb and responsive staff.... More

Awang Awang was exactly what we were looking for in a villa in Bali. It couldn't be any more enchanting. You feel you are in another world. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The village and rice fields are just steps away. The rice field trek was one of our best travel days ever! The staff was so wonderful -... More

My 6 friends and I had a lovely 10 days at Villa Awang Awang. The staff were superb and accommodation very comfortable. This was our second visit and I hope to be back some day to enjoy the serenity; a great place to unwind and explore the Ubud area.

Not to expensive for the view and environment you receive. A true escape to peaceful and harmonious environment, very in touch with nature and your surroundings. A little out of town but that was the beauty of it- easy to hire a motor bike and direct path into town- plus beautiful drive there! Load up on books to read as... More

Where do I start...Villa Awang Awang absolutely beautiful. From the villa itself to the breathtaking view and fantastic staff everything was just perfect. The owner Anna was also extremely helpful in assisting us with our booking and her staff certainly did her proud. We were upgraded to the 5 bedroom villa (we were 3 couples) which was HUGE. The bedrooms... More

We stayed for 6 nights at the Villa Awang Awang (in Beji, the two bedroom villa). We chose this -after much research on the many options in Ubud - because of the location, the private pool and the great value for money. We particularly wanted peace and quiet and this was perfect - the sound of the river below and... More

We have just finished our second stay at Villa Awang Awang after waiting 2 long years. Not only are the staff gracious, attentive and hospitable they can also give you a glimpse into Balinese life and culture. The villa is beautiful and the scenery stunning but Ubud is not far if you do need to do some shopping. I highly... More

Nestled in the mountains above Ubud the views are amongst the best in the world. We enjoyed our 6 night stay and staff were friendly and helpful. We liked having the flexibility of staff being able to drive us into town and the options of several private day tours. However, a number of facilities that were advertised were not available.... Villa Awang Awang is a small cluster of villas tucked away in the hills and rice paddies just 7 mins north of Ubud center, making this the perfect oasis for rest and relaxation. Everything is taken care of for you. Amazing staff, with a special terima kasih to Mr Agung and Mr Kadek for making my first trip to Bali... More
