Dissapointing when a 5 star property such as the Hyatt Sanur, doesn't respond to any emails of a critique nature ..I have just sent another one off, lets see if a response is received now... otherwise I will have to air my "critique" on this site....

We have just returned from Bali for our wedding. I will write a little review on both for anyone that is ever thinking of a Bali wedding.
The Hyatt is stunning, its gardens are second to none, and the private clean beach front is the best in Bali. Yes its dated, it was built over forty years ago, and is...

Stayed at the Bali Hyatt Hotel in Sanur thinking well it is the Hyatt and I do like a good, clean hotel somewherew to just unwind and be spoilt a bit :)
What we got was a very dated hotel and dated furnishings the prices were typical of the Hyatt chain and felt that we could of got better value for...

Excellent service, great location, and by far luxurious enough for us. Travelling with my parents and children aged 10-14yrs the hotel facilities and attentive staff impressed everyone. Yes the rooms are old but the beautiful grounds, beachfront location and awesome service makes up for everything. Sanur is very quiet in late January but day trips are easy and there are...

We stopped here for 4 nights on our way to Oz and NZ. Once you've had a scary taxi ride through the manic roads of Bali, you end up at this gorgeous, quiet sanctuary. The hotel was lovely, the staff were attentive, good choice of restaurants and the pools and beach were gorgeous. You are safe to wander up and...

My husband, 11mth old daughter and I have just returned last week from 10 glorious days at the Bali Hyatt. It was the first time for us to Bali and Sanur was recommended for families, based on raving reviews we opted for Bali Hyatt. From the minute we arrived we were treated like a VIP guest with them showing more...

We really liked the lush green tropical set up and very kids friendly setting. The hospitality was one of best. Though I agree that rooms can be much more modern but is a very good value for the price. The access to beach is also very convenient for us and kids. Food options are good. We stayed for 4 nights...

Is it a bit 'tired', yes. Is it a bit 'tatty' in places, yes. BUT this hotel is just meant to be here. It fits into it's established surrounds so well (the acres of gorgeous grounds) that I could forgive all of that, because it just feels charming.
Lovely staff, pools just fine, beachside location (and you don't get descend...

This hotel is very dated and not a four star as advertised, more a three star at best. I say this because the hotel is made up of stained concrete and peeling paint. the shower is in the bath with a 1980's plastic curtain. Housekeeping can be a bit of a hit and miss, sometimes you get two cups sometimes...
