We rented a 2 bedroom villa to spend Christmas with our kids. The place is very peaceful with a nice garden and a private pool. Villa and pool was cleaned everyday and we had breakfast served every morning. The couple who manages the place is very friendly and very helpful. They advised us for best place to change money and to rent a motorcycle. Only drawback was the WiFi : only available in the lobby - not in the villa. The place is a bit isolated and one needs a motorcycle or taxi to go shopping or to restaurants.

I stayed here for 3 nights as part of my honeymoon trip around Bali. I was a little hesitant at first as this is a little outside of Sanur and the street is not very touristy however the compound and villas within are lovely! The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The villas are about a 5 minute taxi journey into Sanur (the hotel will book these for you). For the price we paid, I was very happy with the Villa. It was very large & spacious with an 'inside/outside' layout, a kitchen area with a kettle and fridge, a living room and separate bedroom. There was a lovely pool and outside shower. The breakfast included was lovely (we opted for nasi Goreng every day). There are noises of local dogs, chickens & roosters, Geckos etc but this is to be expected as this compound is in a normal residential area. A few slight tweaks would make this place perfect- our room could do with a lick of paint and the bathroom upgrading (the sink was broken, and the flusher kept breaking on the toilet), and the sun lounger by the pool was also broken. If you want budget privacy, your own pool away from the crowds stay here :)

Distance from Ngurah Rai to the villa about 30 minutes drive. We took a cab that cost about IDR250,000. Villa was great as the compound and the surrounding was spacious. Unfortunately the television signal was bad. 2nd day early in the morning, the Villa manager offered to change room and we agreed. The staff is friendly, cheerful and helpful. Night time when we are not on plan to go elsewhere, the staff lend a hand to buy dinner as the kitchen closed for that day. Sanur Beach only 5 minutes drive from the villa. Overall this villa is suitable for the people who need privacy and recommended.

I stayed at Mai Mesaree Villa's (3rd May-9th May 2015) with my daughter who had been back packing around SE Asia. We were met at the airport (Complimentary) by the Villas driver in a comfortable clean minibus with AC. Mai Mesaree Villa's is approx 10 minutes drive outside Sanur town which suited us perfectly as we enjoy peace and quiet. We were greeted upon arrival in typical Balinese style.......by gentle, polite and helpful reception staff. Each Villa has a name and ours was called Cempaka. The Villa was very spacious and well equipped with our own private pool. Breakfast was Balinese style and was served every morning poolside. The staff are very helpful and accomodating, checking out info on the internet, printing off details and providing us with bottled water to carry if we were going out for the day. Mai Mesaree Villa's gave us the opportunity to have a relaxing time by the pool for the day or we would hire the villas driver (Cardek) to organise a tour for us. Cardek was an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and very patient with all our questions. It was my first trip to Bali and I certainly chose the perfect place to stay. If you go to Sanur stay at Mai Mesaree Villa's.......you wont be disapointed. Noeleen: London

If you are looking for a private villa with pool, this resort can provide that with old furnitures and dirty pool that you would not even think of swimming in. It was a big disappointment for me and my wife but staff was very helpful and helped us to cancel our booking after staying one night. Also, villa is located far away from everywhere.

From the start, the driver did not pick us up from the airport as arranged and confirmed by email, which left myself,my wife and two children in a bit of a panic, having being stung for 500,000 idd we used a Taxi to get us to our villa. Upon check the lady just said sorry and smiled? The 1st impression is great villa as we walked through the entrance and the pool looked good too. This aside on a closer look the acommodation is very very tired and fixtures and fittings loose and dirty, there was constant noise from the side access road with bikes and dogs, we had dog dirt thrown over into our outdoor shower area and a metal coat hanger was thrown over the day after having spoken to the same lady...just a smile and sorry! We are a family of 4 and there are only 2x sun beds around the pool and always only 2x tea cups, the outdoor lounge area was always dirty and never mopped as wasn't the bedroom floors, only 2x beach towels supplied, the fridge is disgusting and dirty, no crockery or cutlery supplied. The breakfast was very basic and not much choice, some staff where always quick on applying extras to your bill too? One plus we got our "free taxi transfer" to the airport. The web site is not the true picture of this place. Very disappointed!

we stayed at Mai Mesaree after two weeks in Lombok and The Gilis for three nights before returning to Australia. tucked away on a relatively quiet rural road the cluster of villas are very private and very well appointed. pools are excellent as is the quality of televisions etc. staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly and made us very welcome. There are several small shops nearby for drinks and snacks and Sanur main street is 10mins and a $3 cab ride away. it was great to go shopping and for lunch or dinner and then retreat to the peace and privacy of the villas. Well recommended

We arrived on the 24th of January for 9 days and after a bit of exploring we found everything perfect. The staff are superb and nothing is to much trouble. They will order a taxi for you but if you walk across the road to the laundry... Ask for Yogi who has a four by four will take you anywere and is extremley reasonable. The laundry is superb with each item costing 5P washed and pressed. There is a moterbike cleaning station there. At night they sell snacks freshly prepared and I enjoyed having a few beers with the staff many nights. These villas are reasonable and the staff will do anything for you and remember use yogi for trips and taxis. Word of warning do not hire motercycles, the police are corrupt and will stop english, americans, aussies etc for backhanders supposingly fines. Really a great holiday.

I stayed in the 2-bedroom villa with friends recently for 2 nights. The location is far away from Kuta and a bit secluded. Our driver had a hard time finding this villa as the property numbers in the street are not really in sequence, but you can call the villa for directions. The check-in was quick. We had our welcome drinks. The villa is lovely at the first sight, however it was too quiet at night it can be a little creepy. This is fine if you really love a quiet surrounding. I'm really not comfortable with the open bathroom concept, however the bathroom interior is lovely. Pool is big and the royal blue tiles really brings out a lovely pool. But during our stay, the pool light was broken so we couldn't fully enjoy the pool at night. The only huge downside for me is, there are a lot of animals visiting us during our stay: rats, frogs, bats, lizards, mosquitoes, bees. We are fine with mosquitoes, though.. the rest of the animals listed just pass by our place, didn't really bother us, but if you really really do not like animals, you should stay away from this villa. Wifi was excellent in the room. Breakfast was good, sent to our room on agreed time. Hotel attendants were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. It will be very great if they could install a sink in the kitchen area. The open living room and dining room concept was great. Some things can be improved though - the tv that some times couldn't be turn on or change the channel itself (mmm...) and some of the light switches that were a bit loose. Overall, it is a lovely villa and we really enjoyed our stay.
