Decent Hotel near Cantonment Area. Rooms are nice but toilet amenities could be better. Poor swimming pool facility. Good service and decent breakfast. Avoid top floors, in spite of a great view, due to poor HVAC/Cooling. After recent tariff revision, stay has become a bit pricey, in compare to near by Taj.

As the choice of hotels in Varanasi is rather limited considering the fact that this holly area of India is largely visited I would expect an hotel of higher standards . It seems like the case of a secured number of clients has given no reason to the Radisson chain to upgrade it.
