Very Sad experience in this hotel. Don't get mislead by the pictures. The hotel is very very old and not worth the cost. For lesser/same cost you can stay in much better hotels. Food quality is very sad as well. Lastly Dont confuse for Nahare Residency (sad) and Nahar Nilgiris (Good)

Worst of experience...rooms are dirty...there were hair all over the pillow...they don't even take care to change the bedsheets and pillow cover after guests leave... We had a bad time there as well the resturant is also not clean.....dishes are dirty and not at all worth the money.

never ever confuse between two nahar properties---nahar nilgiris is better one in market,good restaurents(3)----worst one is nahar residency---in a narrow lane,far from market,worst staff and rooms---worst food,no breakfast in pkg..even the photos r misleading..and people go thinking nahar only pl.enquire which nahar...nahar residency-worst, nahar niligiris --good but not best..

hotel located on a very narrow street , our car had tough time even u- turning. just rooms ...no other spill-over spaces. lobbies done bright and exotic... drainage vents opening up near common lobbies and even inside many rooms .....causing room to stink when washroom in use. we had 2 rooms booked. rooms though furnished well ...very tight in term... Not a great location if you want to do some shopping etc, because it is located in the middle of a crowded noisy bazaar. This is an excellent hotel and given its location and comfort should be one of the best value of money hotels in Ooty. Rooms are big and cozy and provide you with full comfort and very good room service. Parking is a plus...
