We visited Ooty in the First week of March 2012. It was a peaceful stay with good food, excellent view of the race track. Its opposite side to the market. Very near to the Bus Station, Railway Station and Taxi Stand. Though Ooty is having many taxi stand and Local conveyance from one part to other is available very easily.... More

We went with family and we overall enjoyed our stay. The service was good, the location excellent and the food was quite tasty. We loved it and would return. This hotel chain I find is quite reliable but not in all areas, in Ooty it is of high standard not all the places.

Derby Green is located on a hill overlooking the race course in Ooty. From the hotel lawns (and some rooms) you get an open view of the valley and the Nilgiri hills beyond. It is also very close to the railway station. So if you are planning a toy train ride, you can just walk to the station from here... More
