A laid back and relaxing hotel in Udaipur. Lovely location, overlooking the lake and the City Palace. Good rooms, if slightly small, but clean and tidy - and great views! Restaurant on the terrace is very good - albeit a little dark. Do take a torch for the menu!

Truly fantastic location, with views of the city palace and lake palace from the amazing roof terrace. Restaurant serves good local food too. Delux rooms have views over the lake to the city palace opposite. They are clean and charming, but don't expect anything slick or luxurious. Bathrooms could do with a refurb.

Lake pichola is about as far from a chain hotel as possible. It's a bit ram shackle but that is all part of its charm. Great views, lovely staff and a fab rooftop to hang out on. The restaurant is beautiful at night.
