Really good place. Food great. Service great. Gym - lousy. I prefer to stay on the ground floor - which is a floor below the lobby level. Swimming Pool - OK.

Aurangabad is not a beautiful city, but this hotel has gorgeous grounds and an attractive restaurant. We had some worries about mosquitoes because we saw staff spraying nightly. Our room was OK. It didn't smell fresh, but we were afraid to open the windows to freshen the air for fear of bugs coming into our room.

The Taj Residency Aurangabad is a good base from where to start your exploration of the world-famous caves nearby. Room excellent as one would expect from a Taj hotel, we also had a balcony with a pool view. Food was excellent in the Restaurant and beautiful grounds to relax in after visiting Ellora and Ajanta Rock caves which were amazing.
