I Stayed there Feb 2012 till April 2012. Clean, central and great internet. Stanley the Host makes it feel like home. I would not pay attention too much attention to people that sign up to TA once, and make one bad review.

Nice big airy rooms that seemed to be clean. We had a nice view over looking the sea, and Stanley the owner was very nice and friendly. No hot water though as they use a solar system, so it didn't heat up. Good stay though for the budget traveller. Varkala is really beautiful. Go to Cafe Del Mar for dinner!
