We stayed 2 nights (2 couples) at Hotel . Our upstairs rooms were very spacious, clean, with lots of wood panelling and balconies. The hotel is located at the end of the road so was quiet, but handy for eating and shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful and the restauarant was of an acceptable standard. Good location near the National Park, but hotel shabby, dirty and staff indifferent. Our room was big as was bathroom, but this was very dirty, the bath had dead insects in it and to top it all the wash basin came off the wall and literally exploded badly cutting my husbands arm resulting in a trip to the local hospital... Room was big enough, but shabby, and the water situation not great. Restaurant acceptable. It looks like it could be ok, it it was spruced up and the staff a little more helpful ( although they were ok!). I just got the feeling they were cutting costs to get the most out of you.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Thekkady is an amazing place but this hotel is a black spot. Service does not exist here. Staff at restaurant are just ignorant and does not want to help at all. You have to find a staff to place your order and again to follow up on your order. They will bring water bottle... More

We went there on the recommendation from local guide but this is the place where one would surprise by lack of manner and courtesy .restaurant is the worst part of property in terms of services and food. Horrible place still found many westerners around.
