My husband and I stayed here over New Year and we had a lovely time. It really is in the middle of nowhere! Our room on the first floor was huge with a really high bed that you needed a step to get into - we loved it! There was a storm on our first night and the electricity cut... More

We stayed 4 nights here - 2 more than we planned because I broke my ankle during my stay. The measure of a good hotel is how it manages a problem. Thank goodness I was staying here when my accident happened. The manager and his staff could not have been more caring and helpful, dealing with the hospitals, looking after... More

This has been a welcome pause in our travels, with not much to do other than relax, read and go for an elephant ride or take a dip in the pool. The rooms are immense! On the second night, the chef offered to make us food off the menu. It was delicious ( mind you, so was the food listed... More

If you're looking for party action, bright lights, and all mod cons then this place isn't for you. However, Serenity is one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. Yes, it's not quite as fancy as some of the sister hotels in the Malabar House chain, but it easily equals them because of its very special ambience, the... More

Really enjoyed this place it was small enough that the staff got to know you very quickly. The food, rooms and general setting was excellent. The chef visits at the end of the evening meal. The elephant is a nice ride for the ageing portly european figure but youngsters could ride two up easily. I would go there again. More

The property is really beautiful, and it is a massively relaxing place to stay. The staff absolutely could not be better, everyone is kind, friendly and the service provided was excellent. The food was absolutely gorgeous as well, and it seemed to appear whenever we even thought about being hungry. I will say, however, that there were a few quirks... More

It was our wonderful stay at serenity. We got a beautiful room which made our stay more excited. We loved the massage and seen Lakshmi the next day. She was such a beautiful elephant with calm. It was great to sit outside and to have food with a beautiful and natured air. The staffs were really very friendly and helpful... More

A very peaceful place in the middle of the rubber plantations run by a nice set of staff. Only issue is the generator which is often used during power shut offs that can get a little loud. Would recommend to other travelers especially those looking for an escape from the city. The elephant ride is really fascinating and enjoyable. More

We stayed for just the one night but as another reviewer stated it was not clean, rundown, mould around windows in room and bathroom. The TV and HiFi in lounge where not even plugged in and no power points nearby, the pool was not clean and the food was average. Only 1 room is air conditioned and the rooms are... More
