Saj jungle village is an excellent hotel situated close to the Periyar Wildlife reserve. . There is a nice pool and while we were there this wasn't used very much.
Food was good and quite varied and the evening Buffet was very reasonably priced.

The experience was terrible.
1. Hot water doesn't come 24 hrs. Actually, it hardly comes even in the hours they mention, i.e. 6am - 8 am, and 6pm - 9pm.
2. The quality of breakfast is decent, however the same can only be enjoyed by early comers as the breakfast finishes, and the late comers get dribbles.
