Spent 4 nights here with my family. Excellent hotel with attention to all details, clean, good beds, anything you might desire except a swimming pool - but that's why it is affordable, I guess! Service is impeccable, the managers are for once not trying to sell you anything, but just extremely helpful. Would definitely reccomend!

A very pleasant small simple hotel, just right and historic in itself for the historic area of Kochi. Room adequate, mattress firm. Staff pleasant. The hotel was quite simply the best we stayed in during our stay in India. We didn't particularly enjoy our stay in Kochin but this hotel was a ray of sunshine. We were greeted with a cold fruit juice, the room was spotless and the bed was amazing! At 2500Rs it was very reasonably priced! Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed in suite at front on first floor of this hotel. Our rooms were sunny, spacious and very comfortable with two small balconies and a view overlooking the quiet street at the front of the hotel and the St Francis Church. In a good location, not far from the Chinese fishing nets. Rooms were a little bit tired though, no lift, so up the wooden stairs. Roof top restaurant for breakfast and lunch, but no views to speak of. Old fashioned area heavily built up, so just overlooking rooftops and yards. Free Wi-Fi and pay internet on the three floors.

Hotel Arches is an excellent choice of lodging in terms of location, value, comfort and service. It is one of those rare gems in India that has every comfort, but is not in the "luxury" price class that costs 3 times more. Just stayed two nights at this small heritage hotel right in the centre of Fort Cochin. We were welcomed with a coconut drink and a garland of jasmine.
