I was on a business trip to Kerala in May 2012, and twas housed in the Vedic Village Resorts by the company which invited me. I did not know what to expect, but by arriving to the hotel I had a great surprise. The resort has an excellent location with the backwaters at your door. It is very clean and... More

This was one of the best places we've stayed in - quiet, beautiful and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous . The food was very good and we got what we wanted. We had other plans while we were there and so could'nt try out their massages and other activities, but overall , it was a very pleasant... More

My family of 5 spent 3 nights in the Queens Nest rooms at the end of March 2012. The Vedic Village is about 40 mins from Kochi International Airport and made a very relaxing start to our three week stay in kerala. From our 5 am arrival, exhausted after an overnight flight when we were quickly ushered to our waiting... More

True the location is tranquil but it sure is extremely basic for what it is. Realistically these are wooden huts with very little in the way of fittings. eg no Coffee or Tea making facilities, no shampoo, couldn’t make the TV work and worst of all for a tourist venue, no liquor licence. Beer has to be served surreptitiously under... More

Vedic was a joy to stay at. There were only 2 other families in residence so it was very quiet and peaceful. The gardens are well maintained and watching the adjacent river meandering its way to the sea is enchanting as is the outlook to the riverbank opposite. The food was quite good albeit local Keralan selections. The rooms were very... More

It is very difficult to imagine such a wonderful resort facility and excellent service in a rural setting in India. Excellence is the goal of the Vedic team. They plan your day with such a minute detail with suggestions to get maximum value out of your trip. Authentic and gourmet food and aurvedic massage are uncomparable. In short if you... More

i had my wedding party stay here in January, a group of 16 yuppies from all over India and US. I must mention that the team at the Vedic Village went above and beyond our expectation and never has a NO for a response. They pretty much made sure we had everything on a platter. The team members stayed back... More

Vedic Village is a very peaceful nice location on a small island at the waterfront of the Periyar River. On our way from the airport we passed small villages, which surround the resort. Vedic Village itself is like a small village of cottages within a very nice garden surrounded by coconut trees and other exotic trees and flowers. Each cottage... More
