We stayed there in july for 2 days. I must tell you its a great place to stay if you want to away from the crowd. The resort restaurant is very good but ya they take time to cook your food. There are no walkable restaurant etc near by. The rooms have a old country style feel with wood beams.... More

Paid nine days accom six months in advance , stayed two with no refund. No hot running water which staff thought to be funny, after asking for the hot water to be fixed or we would leave , we left the next morning due to no action. The pool was green and slimy, bed although looked nice was a two... More

Glad we were only there for 2 nights. Located in the middle of no where, too far and poor roads to walk about. We will not be going back. Food was OK but as far out we had no real choice other than to eat there on both nights. You can not even see the lake as all overgrown with... More

Thank you for having taken the time to write a review about your stay with us. We are sorry to hear that you had a disappointing stay .. However I would like to point out a few relevant things: Our website clearly states that Palmgrove Club is “tucked away in a peaceful little alcove on the banks of the Chilavanoor... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The rooms were clean and nice, and the bathrooms were great by Indian standards. However, I did get sick from a chicken salad sandwich in the restaurant. Not a smart choice on my part, but just stay away from Mayo. The lobby was nice and they have a reasonable priced Ayurvedic spa... More

I was there with my husband and friends for almost 3 weeks from 12 sept till 4 October 2011. I was really enjoyed. Even though its 1.5km from the main road, Its far from the busy, noisy sound. In front of the hotel is the lake view and really comfort. After a busy day in the hospital and road, going... More

The hotel is more like a apartment block and less like a hotel. It lies on the backwaters, which is pretty but the hotel itself is located in a very inconvenient place-had a major problem finding it. We chose it because we were in Cochin for just a night and did not want to waste money on 5 star comfort... More

We recently stayed at Ambadys Palmgrove Club during a big family trip to South India. This was the second hotel (of 5 hotels total) we stayed in during our three week vacation in India. Ambadys was by far the worst service of all the places we stayed during our trip, such that we desperately tried to find alternative places to... More

The hotel is not actually a hotel. It is a flat. It is really hard to locate. We had a tough time understanding the directions to the hotel. It is located near the back waters. The staff was excellent. The food was delicious. The restaurant was excellent.
