Sincerely it was a disappointment. The rooms are ok (although a little old and worn), the hotel itself needs renovation urgently. This is a very cozy place in Mangalore. The facility is well kept, neat and functional. Not exactly the lap of luxury but even so, very comfortable with all amenities and features in good condition. Restaurants serve excellent food and offer good service; likewise, breakfast also has a wide spread to cater to all tastes.

Will recommend this place as one of the best option at Mangalore. Nice property having an excellent team of people to take very good care of the guest. In addition it serves varied cuisines with good test.

I have stayed at Gateway properties before, but this is one of those, which desperately needs an overhaul. The rooms are neat and clean, however, old and tired. The food, needs work. The staff, warm, friendly and courteous. The only reason to give it an average rating is the staff.

Its a quite old property, rooms are not good. The room give to me were having cracked cups, broken floor wood laminates, liking bath tub. Service and breakfast is good. location is near to SBI service bus stand.

This is a reasonable mid range hotel. Reception was good (although we were allegedly given a room upgrade but the spec seemed identical to what I had booked!) and the room comfortable (at least until an air conditioning pipe broke and sprayed it with water......).
