Our 5 Nights stay arranged by Thomas Cook was really memorable. The comfort, loaction, service of shikara, the homely food, guide services and beauty of Dal Lake give feel of heavely experience. Very nice maintained House boat. Must stay, longer the better.

We stayed in Meena Mahal houseboat.for 2 days It was a unique experience.Houseboat epotomises Kashmir ambiance. Houseboat is funished with wall to wall carpets.Wooden furniture is carved and made out of walnut wood. Staff was very courtious .Food was good but a bit oily for our taste. Overall a fine experience.

clean, good service, good food, breakfast and dinner. the last dinner was great. hot water, warm blanket, and laundry service is good. electricity sometimes up and down. tv channel are limited. the furniture could be better. beware of sellers, they are alowwed to come inside the boat living roam. quite annoying for me.
