Chandratal lake is one of the best places in Spiti region. Its a must visit place and feels like you are in heaven.... The lake displays all varieties of blue you could ever imagine. The tents were decent and had basic accomodation. The staff was co-operative and made jain food also... But its located little bit far from the Chandratal...

We booked for 4th June 2009 at Chadertal camp not knowing that the camp never opens before end june.
The Camp not only accepted the booking but accepted payment also.
Thereafter the camp does not bother to call us until 2 days before our travel date. Informs us avout the status of the Chandertal access and then tries to convince...
