Loved it, tatty and threadbare but convenient for town. BUT - like anywhere, don't leave cash in room! There were 30 of us and 2 separate rooms had cash (£80 and £120) lifted from room on separate nights - the locks are flimsy so could have been anyone (ie not implicating staff). First occaison was fobbed off, second time we... More

It's old, run down and in critical need of a complete overhaul. The water from the tap is yellow until you let it run for a couple seconds, and i heard one AC unit caught fire while we were there. On the bright side, the staff is pretty ok and the coral reef near the hotel is amazing and has... More

Stayed here for a third time in November 2011. The location is excellent with Naama Bay on the doorstep and an excellent inhouse reef ideal for snorkelling. However the downside remains the disco next door which pumps out music till 5am every night. Earplugs are essential and rooms on the far side of the hotel (away from Naama Bay) are... More

The title refers to the fact that in the sort of stage area there are 3 Pharaoh statues and a pair of feet that once belonged to the missing one. It sort of is in keeping with the hotel. which I must say we really like, but does need a bit of TLC and updating. We came for a second... More

if your after a cheap holiday are are not bothered about high standards then its an okay hotel. We got it for a cheap price and although I was intially dissapointed its shabbiness does grow on you. It feels more like a good quality hostel with lots of back packers, diver groups and a real mix of nationalities staying there.... More

We arrived at the Halomy on Friday 23rd December 2011 for a 2 week family holiday (myself, husband and 2 teenage sons). The day after we arrived we packed our bags and contacted the company we made the booking through as asked for us to be moved. The room we were in was basically falling apart - the toilet didn't... I´ll go back to Halomy in two weeks. I´ts my third time in the same hotel, bot not the last. I go there for the fantastic scuba diving and for the friendly staff. To dive at the corral reef you just go down the stairs and get in the water. I´ve been to Ras Muhammed and Blue Hole, bud thats... More

We arrived at Halomy 30/12/11 and stayed for 10 day's. The whole hotel is extremely tired and run down. The food was not the best at all and the service was poor. We found that the all inclusive guest's were not treated the same as the paying guest's. Most of the hotel staff were great with only a few exceptions.... More

we arrived 31 December 2011 for 7 nights and stayed just 2 nights before we moved. The place is very old, dirty and outdated. The food is not very good. The service is slow (because there aren't enough staff basically). There seems to be a club/disco near by and you can hear this until 4am most nights. I would advise... More
