Beautiful experience, beautiful place, beautiful people.
We have just returned from a week at Sayadeen, and this holiday will forever hold a special place our hearts. Having stayed in a 4/5* all inclusive hotels in Sharm El Sheik, the two experiences cannot be compared. Sayadeen is everything that Sharm lacks... Peace, Beauty, Soul, Character, and friendly people who never hassle...

Arranged Independently
Journey: Thompson Airlines to Sharm el Sheikh. No leg room so be warned anyone over 6ft. Quckly out of airport because we were independent we joined a non-existent queue for passport control. Minibus to Hotel about 2 hrs.
Stayed for 15 nights. Mostly had the place to ourselves due to political unrest (I assume) which did not in...

Are there two Sayadeen Villages? I ask because the one being discussed here [by some people] bears no resemblance to the one that i visited.
The rooms ARE filthy. In fact i cleaned my room myself one day. As for the bed/bath linen: i would not put it in my dogs bed. We never saw a 'menu' we were asked...

I must admit, it was with a little trepidation that I agreed to go to a 3 star holiday village in Egypt. Oh no! friends said,' 3 star in Egypt means 1 star, you should upgrade, you will be ill it will be dirty!' The Sayadeen Village is far from this, I have stayed in much worse places in the...

If you like sporadic, cold, SALT water showers in a filthy bathroom, and rooms with dodgy electrics (plugs hanging out of walls etc) then this is the hotel for you. Location may be good but standards are not - and general food is poor as well.

I first went to Sayadeen with my husband and teenage daughters last August and we had a great time. Last month I went back by myself to get some sun and time to study for my dissertation. I was picked up at the airport by the manager; I was welcomed warmy by the reception manager; I went to my room...

The location of this "hotel" is fantastic, the beach is lovely and the sea a delight to swim in. The best thing they can do however is knock it down and build something decent. The rooms are grotty - we shared ours with mice for 3 days before someone finally got the message to come and do something about it....

Al Sayadeen is really like no other hotel I have ever been to. I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world, but they do not compare to this one.
Firstly, the view is absolutely astounding. If you stand on the beach and look to the right there are the most beautiful mountains, and if you look ahead...

I've never been on a beach holiday before. It's always been one of those things I've avoided. After a very busy year my wife and I decided we needed some real R'n'R. We thought that chilling out by the beach would be grand and if it did become too much we could head out into the desert and do a...
