Just stayed at the Helnan Nuweiba Bay Resort and it was fairly good. It really depends on your expectations; it doesn't match upscale beach resorts of Hawaii or Mexico, but is fine for a mid-range sort of place. We were here for 3 nights as part of an Exodus Tours family holiday ( Sinai Adventure ) . The hotel is now called Helnan Nuweiba Bay Resort and bares little resemblance to the reviews listed here . Just came back from 3 days at this resort, and i wi9ish i was still there. It was so relaxing, i spent most of my time snorkelling or in the shisha tent, but there are other things to do e.g. pool, tennis, organised volleyball matches that any guests can join, glass-bottom boat trips, diving ( this is v expensive though).... Apparently this was designed by the Israeli's when they occupied the Sinai, and this is perhaps reflected in the way the hotel layout resembles a kibbutz: well-managed gardens, bungalow rooms, a central dining room, a seperate reception area, swimming pool, beachside bar, everything spread out nicely giving one a sense of space and peace.
