I don’t usually like to write reviews through the net about hotels or restaurants. But this time I feel that I have to. This is my third time visiting Hurghanda and second time I am visiting a Soma bay hotel. It’s for sure the best landscape I have seen in Hurghanda. The check in was fast and the room the... More

Just returned from a two week holiday at this lovely hotel. The hotel is grand with beautiful communual areas and the staff are fantastic, particularly in the Guest Relations and Reception. They really did put themselves out to make sure that we had a great time there. We travelled with an 11 year old and we had two double beds... More

Frequenting Egypt for our holidays this time we chose the Palm Royale Soma Bay to spend a week off with the children - mainly based on the large number of positive comments raised; and we are certainly very glad we did so! We have had such a great time.... The resort itself is very large with wide grounds very well taken care of. We booked a family... More

We spent a wonderful week at this hotel during the Easter holidays. It was a wonderful, relaxing experience, just as described in the brochure. The main reception area was sheer luxury whilst the grounds are beatifully designed and kept in an immaculate condition. Our bedroom I could not fault and all of the restaurants were of good quality. It was... More

What a wonderfui hotel. From the magnigicent reception area with domed ceilings and gilt statues everywhere to the large palm tree lined beach, heaven. The staff were exceptional, from the cleaner Abdul who always had a smiling face to the bar staff at the Azur Bar and Johnnys Bar and the Food and Beverage Manager Mr Iranka Mallawarachchi who was... Having read the excellent reviews we decided to take a second trip to Egypt, (after bad experience last year with the egyptian tummy) The hotel standard lived up to our expectations and exceeded in some areas. No point repeating the goods things mentioned but concentrate on the areas that caused us some issues. Firstly we travelled with T Cook and... More

First impression very good. Reception staff however a bit aloof and unfriendly some times.Room very good and position on beach great. A bit out of the way if you want to get out of the hotel . If you like walking along the beach you can only go so far because the are all private. Entertainment is poor and not... More

The Resort offers 2 bars on the beach and we just can't understand that some persons are able to complain about the facilities and service. Indeed, the Hotel is rated 5 stars... More
