The location of the Angermeyer gives it an almost Greek feel. It's built into the craggy cliffs overlooking the turquoise waters of the Galapagos. Elsie provided no-nonsense, excellent service, and went above and beyond to ensure our group was comfortable and satisfied. Each room is different and has its own charm. The hotel has an entirely romantic feel. The breakfast... More

I arrived by water taxi at this 5 star, very comfortable hotel overlooking the water with the Blue Footed Boobies, marine iguanas, sea lions on the colorful boat-filled waters. The place was teaming with protected wildlife. Best were the little penguins! The location was perfect and the staff very friendly, especially Teppy, who told me he inherited the place from... More

Wonderful location with boat access only. You could sit in the bar / restaurant area and just watch the Blue Footed Boobies and pelicans fishing while totally relaxing. The bests are firm and very comfortable with great pillows. The service at the restaurant was great, Despite our early 0900hr arrival they really tried to accomodate us in every way. Worth... More

My husband and I had such a great experience staying at Angermeyer Waterfron Inn. Our only regret was that staying just 2 nights made the visit way too short. Booking at this hotel is easy, the staff is very helpful and well equipped to answer any questions. During our stay, we had the opportunity to have breakfast with Teppy and... More

My husband, 7 year old daughter and I stayed one night because our other hotel was not available the first night on arrival. The location was perfect and the staff very friendly, especially Teppy, who gave us the history of the place and island. Our room was huge and the bathroom was big and modern. The food, especially dinner was... More

The Anermeyer Inn is only accessible by water taxi from Puerto Arroyo, and that is both good and bad. The good is that it is in a beautiful setting, right on the water; the bad is that it is somewhat limiting as to what one can do on the spur of the moment. Our room was quite spacious, with internet... More

My wife and I stayed on 3 of the Galapagos islands and this hotel was the cream of the crop. From stepping off the water taxi to the hotel entrance it really sets the scene. Staff are extremely friendly, Rosalla the manageress was impressive. We stayed in an upper room with marvellous views of the water. Food in the restaurant... More

My buddy and I stumbled upon this place talking to other travelers. I have been to over 50 countries in my 29 years of living and this is one of the top 3 places I have ever stayed. The staff treats you like kings, the view is amazing, the space is clean, the food is great, and the surrounding area... More

After researching several places online, we booked this inn for its great reviews and amazing help from staff before coming. Elsie was absolutely wonderful in helping us book a room, organize tours, and help us with anything we needed throughout our stay. The rest of the staff and owners were also very friendly and attentive. This place is more like... More

Form the moment you reach this hotel you know this place has a rich history. You are greeted by a very friendly manager. She tells you the story of the hotel and the role of the German family in the development of the island. The rooms are large and the amenities are excellent. The food is very good and the... More
