This hotel is truly, truly lovely. My room was great, top floor overlooking the bay. It is in an amazing location and it literally at the end of the pier so you jump off the boat cross the road and you are there in 30 seconds. I am a solo traveller, 34 and I wanted reasonablely priced accommodation that was... More

We left this place after the first night. We didn't like this place at all. The girls who seem to be in charge of this place were virtually non existent and not very helpful. The room was small and not comfortable. Nowhere to sit down reasonably comfortably. The so called en suite bathroom is actually in the bedroom just behind... More

This hotel is very conveniently located just across the dock. If you are arriving by water taxi it is very convenient. Aside from that the location is great because you have ocean views and you are right next to the malecon (walkway next to the ocean). I received a quick response from the owner when I contacted them online and... More

I'm sure our experience isn't the norm. Unfortunately Jackie the owner wasn't around and the place was being run by her daughters, who basically use the place as a doss house. Ignorant, unhelpful, uninterested and with absolutely no sense of customer care whatsoever. We arrived early from our tour Boat (about 8am) and went upstairs to let them know, the... More

Overlooking the wharf, right in the midst of the action. Not that there is much in this quiet seaside haven. We arrived early, no problem gaining access to room. The struggle to the 3rd floor was well worth it. Our own 'Cupola' on the roof, air conditioning not needed as breeze wafted through our louvres. This room is very spacious,... More

The manager and owner, Jackie, is an artist, and this hotel is one of her canvases. Each room we saw was very different and each was interesting in its own way. Try to get a room looking out on the bay. Our room was clean and the water pressure was good enough to take a shower but not to wash... More

Very centrally positioned, a short walk from the wharf (if you are arriving by boat) and a short walk from restaurants and tour operators. Jackie, the owner, was very nice and helpful and recommended a very good taxi driver to take us on a tour of the highlands. We got a 2nd floor corner room which was relatively cheap, but... More

The location and external appearance are both great. However, we did not have any water at all for three of the seven nights we stayed here. Even allowing for the poor water supply on San Cristobal, this is unacceptable. Electric shower heaters are very dangerous (neighbouring hotels do not use these). Owner Jackie is very sweet and pleasant but seems... More

First up, I found it difficult to get information about this place, so here is some contact details you might find useful: www.casablancagalapagos.com, [--]. I stayed here with a friend after a dive liveaboard on the Aggressor II, having chosen the place after reading Tripadvisor reviews. The location is absolutely perfect – right on the Charles Darwin avenue in front... More
