This hotel has managed to stay up-to-date despite the political unrest in that nation. I found the conditions favorable. My room had a comfortable bed, free wireless Internet access, the basic room amenities and an adequate selection of TV news channels. I ordered room service and the meal was of ample portions and very tasty. The breakfast buffet has a...

The bar, wich...

I have stayed at the Tiama once or twice a year for 5 years and even lived there for 3 months once.
The Hotel Ivoire and Hotel Golf are state owned dumps which you should avoid at all costs. You will want to move out after one night if not sooner. The Novotel is OK as is the Sofitel, but...

I stayed at the Tiama close to two months when I was posted temporarily in Abidjan. Overall, the hotel was of good quality by U.S. standards and very good considering the available options in town. Rooms offer a view of Abidjan's cathedral and high rise buildings, as well as the lagoon. Bathrooms are quite nice. Rooms have a mini-bar/refrigerator and...
